Privacy policy

This page explains what personal data ainima.zone collects, why it collects it, who it is shared with, and how you can have it deleted. It is written to be read, not to be skipped: if anything is unclear, write to hello@ainima.zone and we will explain it.

Who processes your data

The data controller is the person or entity named above. For any question about this policy, or to exercise your rights, that is the address.

What we collect, and why

We only collect the data you give us by filling in a form. We do not obtain any from outside sources and we do not buy any from anyone.

• Sign-up and sign-in — name and email. They let us recognise you when you come back and, if you consented, send you news and offers. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Orders and payments — name, email and shipping address. They are needed to deliver what you bought and to keep the accounts. Card details never pass through us and we never see them: Stripe handles them directly. Legal basis: performance of the contract and legal obligations.
• Contact form — name, email and the text of the message, so we can reply. Legal basis: your consent and the legitimate interest in answering people who write to us.
• Article comments and product reviews — name, email and the text. The name and the text become public after moderation; the email is NEVER published and only serves to tell writers apart. Legal basis: your consent.

What we do not do

Worth spelling out, because it is rare:

• No analytics and no tracking. There is no Google Analytics, no Tag Manager, no pixel from any social network, and no “privacy-friendly” alternative either. We do not know how many pages you viewed or where you came from.
• No profiling cookies and no third-party cookies.
• No selling, sharing or trading of your data for commercial purposes.
• No automated decisions and no profiling: we do not put you in any segment and we do not show you anything different from what everyone else sees.

Cookies and browser storage

The site uses no profiling cookies. It uses your browser’s local storage, which stays on your device and is never sent to anyone, to remember four things:

• what is in your cart, so it does not empty when you change page;
• your name and email, if you signed up, so you do not have to type them again;
• the fact that you have already given consent;
• the fact that you have already dismissed the cookie notice, so it is not shown again.

You can clear all of it whenever you like by clearing the site data in your browser settings: you will lose the cart and have to type your name again, nothing more.

Who we share data with

To run the site we rely on a few providers, which process the data on our behalf and only for the service they give us:

• Netlify — publishing and delivering the site’s pages;
• Fly.io — running the application that answers the forms;
• Supabase — the database where the data is stored;
• Cloudflare R2 — storage for the images and the audio files;
• Stripe — payments. It processes card data as an independent controller;
• Resend — sending notification and confirmation emails.

The pages also load their typefaces from Google Fonts: to do so, your browser contacts a Google server, which sees your IP address. It is the only third-party connection a page on this site opens by itself.

How long we keep it

The name and email of anyone who signed up are kept until you ask for deletion, or until you withdraw consent. Contact-form messages are kept as long as they are needed to handle the conversation. Comments and reviews are kept as long as the content they refer to stays online, or until you ask for their removal. Order data is kept for as long as accounting law requires.

There is no scheduled automatic deletion: deletion happens on request. We would rather write that than promise a deadline the code does not enforce.

Your rights

At any time you can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to the processing, and receive a copy in a readable format. Where processing rests on consent, you can withdraw it whenever you like, and withdrawal does not affect what was done before.

An email to hello@ainima.zone is enough: no form and no set wording. If you believe your data is being handled badly, you can contact the supervisory authority in your country.

If this policy changes

This page changes when the site changes. The date at the top says when it was last updated: if something substantial changes in how we handle data, we write it here before applying it.
